My Story
During the pandemic I told my husband I wanted to open an Etsy store with the hopes to make us an extra $1000 a month. Little did we know that opening an Etsy store would change our lives forever.
After 8 months of working hard I started making 100 sales a week, which is when I decided to start a second Etsy store. Less than a year later I was making over 100 sales a day on most days!
Currently my first store (which I had to close about 2 years after opening it) sits at 49,832 sales while my seconds store is now at 75,000+ sales a number that is still going up every single day!
Why Digital Products
+Location independence
Me and my husband had been living as digital nomads before the pandemic hit. Knowing that one day the borders would open again I wanted to find a way to finance our lifestyle from anywhere. Now all we need is an internet connection, allowing us to travel as much as we’d like!
+passive income
Selling digital products means my income is not tied to the amount of hours available in a day. I create a product once and now I can sell it unlimited amount of times. I just upload it to Etsy, a customer buys it and is instantly able to download it. Now I make money when I sleep, when I am on a plane to a new destination, or simply when I am watching a show on Netflix!
+self employed
Selling digital products quickly became my full-time job, but it does not mean I have to work full-time hours. There are no deadlines, no 9-5, no one to report to, no set hours I have to work every week! I make my own schedule, and best of all, I get to pick what I want to create!
+earning potential
There is no limit of how much money you can make with digital products! One product can be sold an unlimited amount of times so you have an unlimited earning potential. Plus digital products have a high profit margin as often the overhead costs are a lot lower than, for example, physical products!
